Booking and Payment Expectations

A customer-friendly summary of what to expect when booking with a business that uses SchedBiz.

These practical policy notes are for early SchedBiz launches. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before wider release.

Before booking

  • Choose the location, service, provider preference, and time that works for you.
  • Add accurate contact details so the business can confirm changes, send reminders, or share payment instructions if enabled.
  • Review branch notes before submitting. These notes come from the business and may include arrival, preparation, or cancellation guidance.

After booking

Keep the booking reference and confirmation page. If you switch devices, booking lookup may ask for the reference, your last name, and one matching contact detail before reopening the secure booking page.

Customers do not need a SchedBiz account to book, manage allowed changes, or submit payment proof.

Payments and proof

If payment is required, follow the instructions shown by the branch. SchedBiz may collect a reference number, optional note, and optional proof file so the business can review the payment.

Payment proof is reviewed by the business. SchedBiz does not automatically confirm wallet transfers, bank transfers, deposits, refunds, or chargebacks.

Cancellations, reschedules, and refunds

Cancellation, reschedule, no-show, refund, and correction rules come from the business. SchedBiz may show branch-specific instructions and, when enabled, allowed online actions. The business handles exceptions and customer follow-up.

Privacy basics

Booking details are protected with private links and lookup checks. Use the booking reference and private page carefully, especially if you share a device.

See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the longer policy details.
