Privacy Policy
This policy explains the practical data expectations for owners, staff, and customers using SchedBiz booking pages and admin tools.
These practical policy notes are for early SchedBiz launches. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before wider release.
Information SchedBiz handles
- Owner and staff account details, such as names, email addresses, roles, and login-related records.
- Business setup details, including tenant profile, branches, services, staff schedules, and public booking notes.
- Customer booking details, such as name, phone, email, service, branch, staff preference, time, booking notes, and intake answers when configured by the business.
- Manual payment review details, such as payment method, reference number, optional notes, proof upload metadata, and proof files when submitted.
- Notification records and delivery status for configured email or SMS updates.
- Basic technical logs used to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.
How the information is used
- Create and manage bookings, schedules, services, branches, staff availability, and customer self-service pages.
- Send booking updates, reminders, payment instructions, or secure access links when those features are enabled.
- Let businesses review manual payment proof and keep payment status connected to the booking or pass.
- Help owners and maintainers troubleshoot account, booking, payment, notification, or product issues.
- Maintain product security, reliability, and basic operational records.
Customer booking privacy
Public booking pages only ask for customer details needed to create or manage the booking. Booking details are not meant to be found through a public list. Secure booking pages use private links, and booking lookup requires the booking reference plus matching contact proof.
Customers should keep booking references and private booking links with the same care as appointment or receipt information.
Business responsibilities
Businesses decide what branch notes, cancellation rules, payment instructions, and service intake questions to show. They should avoid asking customers for sensitive information that is not needed for the booking.
Businesses are also responsible for how they use exported customer details, payment proof, and customer messages outside SchedBiz.
Providers and storage
SchedBiz may rely on hosting, database, storage, email, SMS, and similar service providers to operate the product. Payment proof files are stored for business review according to the configured storage setup.
SchedBiz does not promise that a business payment provider, wallet provider, bank, messaging app, or external website follows this policy. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices.
Choices and support
Customers should contact the business for booking changes, payment questions, refunds, or branch-specific instructions. Owners and staff should contact the SchedBiz operator for account or platform privacy questions.
See the Terms of Service and booking expectations for related responsibilities.
