Terms of Service

These terms explain the basic responsibilities for using SchedBiz to manage bookings, payment proof, reminders, and customer self-service.

These practical policy notes are for early SchedBiz launches. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before wider release.

What SchedBiz provides

SchedBiz provides booking and scheduling software for service businesses. It helps owners publish booking pages, manage branch details, list services, schedule staff, review manual payment proof, and send customer updates when those features are configured.

SchedBiz is a software tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, medical, payment-provider, or compliance advice.

Business responsibilities

  • Keep business, branch, service, staff, price, and availability information accurate.
  • Write clear customer-facing payment, cancellation, reschedule, refund, and visit instructions for each branch.
  • Review payment references and proof files before marking a payment as verified.
  • Use customer booking information only for legitimate booking operations and support.
  • Protect owner and staff accounts, invite links, booking links, and exported customer information.
  • Follow the laws, tax rules, consumer rules, and provider terms that apply to the business.

Customer booking expectations

Customers use public booking pages to choose an available service, time, branch, and staff preference when offered. Customers do not need a SchedBiz account to book.

Branch-specific payment, cancellation, and visit instructions come from the business. SchedBiz shows those instructions in the booking flow but does not replace that business policy. See booking expectations for a plain-language customer summary.

Manual payment proof

If a business enables manual payment review, SchedBiz can collect a reference number, optional notes, and an optional receipt or screenshot for the business to review. The business decides whether the submitted details match its own payment records.

SchedBiz does not automatically verify wallet transfers, bank transfers, deposits, refunds, or chargebacks. The business remains responsible for payment approval, corrections, and customer follow-up.

Privacy and data

SchedBiz stores account, business, booking, customer contact, scheduling, payment-proof, notification, and technical log data needed to operate the product. The Privacy Policy explains these expectations in more detail.

Availability and changes

SchedBiz may change features, fix errors, improve security, or pause access when needed to operate the service. Owners should keep their own backup and export expectations appropriate for their business.
